Clinic at Mt Elgon

Approximately 350 children were treated by sister Freda and Lisa during a mobile day clinic at a primary school in Mt. Elgon. As is usually the case malaria, typhoid and intestinal parasites were the main complaint.

Water arrives at Runo

Water was piped in from a mountain stream catchment area to the remote area of Runo in west Pokot. The community dug trenches across 2 miles of desert and laid the pipeline which was supplied by generous donors.

Pastor John receives a bicycle

Pastor John and his wife Monica founded Runo primary school and also planted a church in the community. John was given a bicycle to make him more mobile and therefore more effective in his ministry. He shows off the bike in front of his house where his wife and 2 children live.

Desks arrive at Runo school.

With approximately 400 children in attendance at Runo school desks were in short supply. In fact only enough desks were available to seat 30 kids. Thanks to Don and Susie Gause and their team 50 more desks will be supplied. The team also donated books and school supplies.
